Now that all the business is out of the way...........Let's get to the project I have prepared for this blog hop for Day 6!

Here is my project.


I made a few pillow boxes so that I can insert gift cards in.

I cut out the pillow boxes using a svg file from Lettering Delights ~ Pillow Boxes Set.  The cardstock is from Reflections ~Sugar plums.  (I loved the metallic on this cardstock, but it was a bit difficult to photograph...because it reflected my flash.)

The 'Joy' stamp is from The Stamps of Life ~Penguins4Christmas stamp set and the 'Ornament' stamp was from their Holly4Christmas stamp set.   I used Stampin' Up! inks in real red and old olive.  The ribbon was some extra that I had on hand and I tied the ornament to the ribbon using The Twinery twine in maraschino.

Here is my project.

I used the digi stamp from our Sponsor, Delicious Doodles, Poinsettia Corner.   This is my first time using a digi stamp/image and I can see how digi stamps/images can become addicting!   Delicious Doodles has some pretty great images too!

I colored the poinsettia corner using my copic markers.  On this image, I used: E25, YG67, YG17, Y19, R29, R59 and C0.

I then used stickles for the center of the poinsettia and also for the berries to give it some sparkle.

I stamped this card using the sentiment from The Stamps of Life, Christmas4Him stamp set.

Here is the completed card.

3D Holiday Project Challenge @ CSDivas

Come join the 3D Holiday Project Challenge over at Creative Scrapbooking Divas!

The challenge ends next Friday, September 30th.  That is plenty of time to join in!!

Got Coffee?

Here is a quick step card that I did earlier today.

The cup of coffee is from The Stamps Of Life  - Coffee4Two stamp set.  

I colored it with my copic markers using: E31, E33, E41, YG67 and G24.

The "Got Coffee ?" was cut out using my Cricut and SCAL.  I distressed the letters with my color box chalk ink in dark brown.  (I use it quite often)  

The step card was cut out using an svg file with SCAL and my Cricut as well. 

I got the step card set from SVG Attic.

Exciting News!!

I have some exciting news!

We've Moved! Card

I wanted to make We've Moved cards and mail them out to my friends and family........but this past month has been busy!  Hard to believe we have been in our new home for a month now!   I figured I would at least make one for now and post it and then I can mass produce them once I have the first one made.  So here it is......

I used the Houses4Us stamp set from The Stamps of Life.  I really love the stamps and am a club member.









The supplies I used  are below.  I also used pre-made white cards I bought at Michael's and a standard black ink pad to stamp the images.  I really like The Green Stack by DCWV, the prints are just so cute!   I used my distressing tool for the tan card stock in the back as well as the DCWV printed card stock.  I used the Color Box Chalk in dark brown on the back piece of card stock as well as the "We've Moved" circle.  I cut out the house, fence and tree and used a pop dot for the tree and the "We've Moved".   The green strip, I finally used my Cuttlebug.  (I don't remember which embossing folder it was that I used.)




These are all of Copic markers I used to color all of the stamped images.

Cookie Birthday Card

Here is a card I made using the Stamps of Life - Birthday4Cookie set.  I absolutely love love this little doggie.  I have a dog named Kookie and when I saw this set I absolutely had to have it.

I have been a member of the Stamps of Life for a couple months now, I am just getting started using the stamps sets now that I am finally settled in my new house.  (pics of craft room coming real soon!)  You have to check out their stamp sets and become a member as well.  Looking forward to the new set coming August 1st!!!  :)
