Happy New Years!!

Well here we are......New Year's Eve!! 2011 is just several hours away. I have been reflecting a lot the past couple days....with a cold and needing rest...one can do some reflecting. This year, 2010...has been a good year.....not one without obstacles and trials but it was a good one nonetheless. God has surely brought me through it. For that I am extremely greatful. There has been some changes in the last month.....and I look forward to what those changes are going to bring in 2011.

I look toward 2011......and even though I am looking forward.....I can't help but look back and feel very blessed and grateful to God for the year that will now be behind me. I think it is very important for us to look back at all that God has done in our lives. It builds a faith that is stronger and gives strength and dependency on God for what is yet to come. God is in all things.....the good and even in our trials. (I don't like to say "the bad" because it isn't "bad" it is a "trial".) With that said....here is my 2011 Prayer!

Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank You for 2010 and all that You have brought me through. For it was You and only You that brought me through to the other side of every trial. Thank You for Your love, grace and mercy! I ask that You be with my family and friends....and may You always be #1 in our lives. I ask for Your continued refining fire and mold me into the person I am to be. I ask that You bless the year of 2011 for us and give us continued strength to carry on. With You all things are possible and may we never forget that it is You we need and nothing else.

I praise You and thank You. In Your Son's most precious name, Jesus! Amen!
