Angels Birthday Card

My boss' birthday is a week away, so I decided to make him a birthday card. He is a big Anaheim Angels fan! (or are they Los Angeles Angels now? Whatever....it's just baseball! LOL!!). I thought "how cool would it be if I had the Angels logo in an SVG file? And make him a card with that!!" So I googled it and found on Wikipedia the logo in an SVG file! How awesome is that?!!!!

So here is a simple birthday card I made for him....... ( I am so excited!!)













I used my glossy accents on the halo for a little sheen and dimension.



Hope you like it! I sure hope my boss likes it too! ;))

Fall Harvest Sign

Here is a quick and simple sign I made to hang in my kitchen. 

I used the 'We R Memory Keepers' Embossible Designs - Fall Harvest sheet that has a bunch of different punch out elements.

I attached each element together using twine from The Twinery.

I put some green cardstock behind the 'Fall Harvest' and trimmed it for a slight matting around it to make it more sturdy and so it wouldn't warp.  I hole punched the corners and tied the twine so that I could hang it.

I did the matting on the pumpkins as well.  I home punched the green cardstock behind the pumpkin so I wouldn't put a hole in them.  Then I connected the two pumpkins with the twine so that they would hang down.

And wa-la!  I have me a little Fall Harvest sign.
