I have just been having a really CRANKY week!! Well this morning I was pretty tired of being so darn cranky! I decided to pick up my devotional, (Secrets of the Secret Place by Bob Sorge), it's a new one for me. I started to read Chapter 1. The verse of that chapter was
Psalm 91:1 ~ " Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty." I sure needed this today! I sure need some rest and what better place to be resting than in the shadow of the Almighty God!! (I sure can't think of a better place.)
So....on my desk at work I have one of those spiral bound perpetual calendars, (Restore My Soul - Encouragement from God's Word) and I flipped it over to today. What scripture do you think was for today, April 21st?? Well of course it was Psalm 91:1-2!! Coincidence??? I think not!!
I am still tired....but I will tell you.....my crankiness was gone! I began to be filled with Joy! God is so good!!

You're not alone this week! I've had a difficult one as well. Thanks for sharing this verse - I'm going to put it on my fridge so I'll be reminded to take a deep breath, say a prayer, and carry on. Hope you have a blessed weekend!
