Cricut's Craftroom Beta Version is open to everyone!! If you have a Cricut and a laptop......you have to go to the link above or click on the picture and it will take you to the link. It's a must!!
I just found out!! If you have a Cricut, you will be able to use this now. It's no longer by invite only!!
You will have access to all the cartridges Cricut has to offer.....BUT you won't be able to cut with them if you don't own them! But that is ok......because it gives you the opportunity to really test drive a cartridge to see if you really truly want it!
You will have to go to the site and read the FAQ's to get more information.
I am super excited!
Happy Crafting!!

CSD's Challenge: Black, White & Read All Over
Here is my entry for the Creative Scrapbooking Diva's "Black, White & Read All Over" Challenge.
These are the rules:
The 'Extra Extra' reminded me of "Extra Extra!! Read All About It!!"
Since the color red should only be 20% of it. I used a dotted heart stamp in the front and inked around the black and white paper very lightly.
I put a red heart on the inside of the card with the word "love" in black and still keeping with the black, white and red theme.

These are the rules:
- MUST use colors black, white, & red only, with red only being about 20% of the layout.
- Option A: Do a newspaper type theme...write your journaling like a paper article, use the comic strip format, (like I did) or make your page a newspaper ad.
- Option B: Use a pattern paper with a newspaper print or feel to it. Not a letter, but dictionary pages are ok.

Pillow Boxes for my Bible study group
Here are the pillow boxes I made for my Bible study group which starts in 2 weeks. I made a total of 20 pillow boxes, 2 with each patterned paper.
Warning! Lots of pictures to follow!
This butterfly one is my favorite!
I really like this one too! Love the petite flowers on the white.
That is all of them. Now I need to buy the candy and fill them.
I am so glad I finished them ahead of time. Last year I was finishing them up the night before and filling them.
I hope you like them!
Here is the recipe:
Paper: SEI Bright Blossom pack
Pillow box: SVG file from Lettering Delights.
Sentiment: SU Matchbox Messages
Ink: SU colors
(wild wasabi, pumpin pie, baja breeze & rose red)
Twine: The Twinery
(lemon drop, buttercream, blossom, pink sorbet, caribbean, peapod & honeydew)
